Eighteen years after Madeleine McCann disappeared in Portugal, her parents have shared an emotional message.
Madeleine was three when she vanished on May 3, 2007. Despite years of investigations, no confirmed trace of her has been found.
Marking the anniversary, Kate and Gerry McCann said their determination to find answers remains “unwavering,” even though there is no significant news.
May is also Madeleine’s birthday month. She would be 22 this year.
“We miss her,” they wrote, adding that she remains in their hearts every day.
The official UK investigation is still active.
