Christina Applegate says her multiple sclerosis has left her spending much of her day in bed.
The 54-year-old actress, diagnosed in 2021, shared that pain and exhaustion have greatly limited her daily life. Still, she makes it a priority to drive her 15-year-old daughter, Sadie, to school, calling it their special time together.
Applegate has chosen to be open about the challenges of living with a chronic illness. She says she wants to speak honestly about how difficult life can be.
Her memoir, You with the Sad Eyes, will be released on March 3. In it, she reflects on her health battle and her childhood, hoping her story helps others feel less alone.
