Breast cancer: 4 early signs every woman should know.

Breast changes are often harmless, but some signs need attention. One early warning is a lump or swelling in the armpit, especially if it feels hard or doesn’t go away.

Changes in the breast itself also matter. Look for unusual pain, changes in size or shape, skin dimpling, redness, or nipple discharge. These symptoms don’t always mean cancer—but they should be checked.

Regular self-checks help you notice changes early. From age 40, routine mammograms are important for early detection.

If something feels unusual, don’t wait—early action can make a big difference in treatment and recovery.
