James Courtney dreaded his flight as soon as he saw the large woman beside him. “How on earth was he going to travel comfortably with her?” he thought. When she accidentally jabbed him, he cruelly mocked her weight, saying, “Excuse the 3,000 doughnuts you ate to get to that size?”

As she cried, he added, “Next time pass the hat, I’m sure all your fellow passengers will be very generous!” Despite her tears, James continued his verbal assault, mocking her drink choice and suggesting cheap liposuction.

During dinner, he taunted her again, saying, “Are you sure that will be enough? Because I think it would take a village to feed this lady!” The flight attendant then invited the woman, Allison Jones, to the cockpit, revealing she was a celebrity opera singer. The captain announced her presence, and passengers applauded.

The flight attendant warned James, “I don’t care how many millions you have, if you upset that girl again, I’m putting you in economy.” James tried apologizing, but Allison responded, “It doesn’t matter who I am. You shouldn’t treat people like that, EVER!” Humbled, James remained silent for the rest of the flight.
