Brett Yancey, 47, fighting esophageal cancer for seven years, recently faced a challenge – escorting his daughter Sarakate, 17, as she was crowned homecoming queen at Southside High School in Alabama. Despite his physical struggles, he insisted on walking her across the field, rejecting the idea of using a golf cart.
