John Schneider Marries Paul Sorvino’s Widow

John Schneider, famed for “The Dukes of Hazzard,” recently married Dee Dee Sorvino, widow of actor Paul Sorvino, in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony. Their vows took place beside a white convertible once owned by Usher. Sharing their joy, the couple announced, “Just when we thought our happiest days were forever behind us… WE HAPPENED.”

Following the wedding, Schneider posted on Facebook, “Big news, big news, everybody! Dee Dee and I got hitched last night in Vegas.” Reflecting on his journey, he admitted, “I never thought I would laugh again, but now I find myself laughing all the time.”

Fans celebrated Schneider’s happiness, though some criticized the quickness of his new marriage. Responding to critics, he said, “Seriously? How long is long enough to not wake up in the morning and wish you had died in your sleep?”

Schneider lost his third wife, Alicia Allain, to cancer in 2023. He expressed gratitude for the support and love he received, stating, “Thanks, Dee Dee! Thanks, Paul!! Thanks, Alicia!!!” Finding love again, Schneider described meeting Dee Dee as “a miracle,” adding, “God sent a widower to a widow and a widow to a widower who [gets] it.”
