Alice began working for Martin at 17, recommended by her foster mother. One day, while making Martin breakfast, they reminisced about their first meeting. “How long has it been since you started working here?” Martin asked. “Ten years, sir!” Alice replied. During this time, Martin’s son Adam insulted Alice, calling her a “slave.” Martin defended her, threatening to disown Adam if he disrespected her again.
On Alice’s 30th birthday, Martin surprised her with a car, angering his children. Martin explained, “Alice has been by my side for ten years. She is family to me.” He hosted a small party for Alice, treating her like his own daughter.
As Martin’s health declined, he revealed his will, leaving his estate to Alice. His children protested, but Martin stated, “It was only Alice who took care of me all these years.” He then revealed to Alice, “You are my biological daughter… I hope I treated you well. I love you.”
Alice tearfully hugged Martin, saying, “I’ve always felt you were my dad… I am so grateful for the time we shared, dad.”
