Sahar Tabar, born Fatemah Khishvand, gained viral fame in 2017 for her eerie, “zombified” version of Angelina Jolie, created through makeup, Photoshop, and some cosmetic procedures. Her appearance sparked both curiosity and controversy.
However, in 2019, Iranian authorities arrested her as part of a crackdown on social media influencers. She faced charges including blasphemy, inciting violence, and encouraging youth corruption. Initially sentenced to 10 years in prison, she was granted conditional release after serving 14 months.

Following her release, Tabar appeared on state-owned Rokna, revealing her real face. The internet reacted with shock, with one commenter writing, “Wow! It’s so sad what lengths people would go to for fame.” Another added, “Prayers for her.”
Tabar clarified misconceptions about her appearance, stating, “What you saw on Instagram was the computer effects I used to create the image.” She admitted to undergoing some cosmetic procedures but emphasized that her viral look was primarily digital. Reflecting on her past, she acknowledged, “My mother was telling me to stop, but I didn’t listen.”
