Mexican television host Daniel Bisogno, best known for “Ventaneando,” has passed away at 51 due to liver complications following a transplant in September 2024. His show confirmed the news with a heartfelt statement: “‘Window’ is mourning. Gone is one of our most outstanding members. Rest in peace. We will honor his memory always.”
Bisogno had been struggling with health issues, often stepping away from the show. Despite his hopes to return to “Ventaneando” and his theater project “Lagunilla mi barrio,” doctors advised against it. His brother, Alex B, had recently stated that while his condition was delicate, it wasn’t critical. However, a bacterial infection in his bile ducts worsened his health.
One of his last public appearances was a phone call during “Ventaneando’s” 29th anniversary, where he expressed, “The best thing is that it has given me everything, both good and bad… Absolute happiness. I love you with all my heart.”
Tributes poured in, including from Eugenio Derbez and journalist Mónica Garza, who described him as “fun, generous, shyly bold, romantic… a supportive friend like few others.” He is survived by his daughter Michaela and brother.
