Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are leaving Los Angeles after experiencing two frightening break-ins at their home.
Hawn revealed on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast that they considered relocating to Palm Desert due to Los Angeles’s rising crime rates. She described how burglars broke in, stealing valuables by smashing through a secured door. Four months later, another break-in left her feeling “extremely agitated and tense all the time.”
These incidents are part of a growing trend of high-profile break-ins in 2024, affecting celebrities like Corinna Kopf and King Bach. The couple, concerned for their safety, decided that Los Angeles no longer offered the security they needed.
“The city’s attraction no longer outweighed the dangers,” Hawn explained, leading them to prioritize peace of mind over the glamorous lifestyle. Their move reflects a broader concern among residents about rising crime rates in the area.
