Finding love can be tough, especially in busy cities. Tired of dating apps and noncommittal men, model Karolina Geits took a bold approach—she walked through New York City holding a cardboard sign that read, “Looking for a husband.”
In an interview with the New York Post, Geits revealed she had been single for two years before trying this unconventional method. She also shared her journey on TikTok, where her videos gained widespread attention. “I believe that if I make an actual sign for anything I want—a husband, a Birkin, Chanel… the universe will see it and send me exactly what I want,” she said.
Her efforts paid off. After about 30 minutes of walking, someone approached her and exchanged numbers. “We’re just getting to know each other… It’s still new, but we’ll see where things go,” she shared. More than anything, she felt proud for stepping out of her comfort zone: “I want a family, I’m ready for love, and I don’t have time to waste.”
Her story resonated with many online, inspiring others to try creative ways to find love.
