Thomas Rhett has another No. 1 hit with “Mawmaw’s House,” featuring Morgan Wallen. The song’s success marks Rhett’s 20th chart-topping hit in just ten years. He expressed gratitude for his fans’ connection to his music, saying, “Each No. 1 is incredibly special… It means the world to me.”
The song, a hidden gem kept secret for over three years, was inspired by an interrupted Zoom call between Rhett and Wallen. They wrote the song in August 2020, sparked by a call from Wallen’s grandmother.
To celebrate, Rhett and his “Mawmaw” jumped into a pool, holding hands and celebrating the song’s achievement. Rhett thanked country radio, Morgan Wallen, and his team for their support.
He shared the moment on social media, saying, “Celebrating ‘Mawmaw’s House’ going #1 with my Mawmaw… thank you thank you thank you to country radio, @morganwallen, & my whole team. Love y’all.”
