What Is PT?

PT can result from changes in blood flow, caused by severe exercise, pregnancy, or thyroid issues. However, it can also signal more serious conditions like aneurysms, atherosclerosis, or even tumors. “Sometimes, your blood flow can become more turbulent… most often due to a tumor,” Dr. Ahmed notes.
