Hayes Logan Costner, 15, is stepping into Hollywood’s spotlight with his debut performance in “Horizon: An American Saga,” a film directed and co-written by his legendary father, Kevin Costner. In a poignant scene alongside Sienna Miller, who plays his on-screen mother, Hayes showcases his acting talent at just 15 years old.
Kevin Costner, known for his iconic roles in Hollywood, not only stars in the movie but also directed it. Hayes, born from Costner’s passion for Western movies, was intentionally cast by his father at the age of 13 to spend quality time together on set. Kevin expressed, “I’m like any other parent, I’m trying to figure out, like, ‘This is really neat. You should come be with me.’”
Beyond the movie, Kevin is proud of his children’s accomplishments, mentioning his son Joe’s recent job as a sound engineer. The family’s unity is crucial for Kevin, especially amidst his recent divorce from Christine Baumgartner. Despite the challenges, he admitted, “This is a horrible place to be, but this is where we’re at. It feels so bad. We’re talking about somebody I love on the other side.”
