Actor Nicky Katt, known for his guest role in Friends, has died at age 54. He was found in his Burbank apartment on April 8, with his family confirming he died by suicide. “He died by s**cide after battling with depression – one that he fought bravely but quietly,” said his sister, Elise Ravenscroft.
Katt appeared in Friends as Arthur, one of the coffee shop bullies in the episode The One with the Bullies. Though he never played lead roles, fans remembered his presence: “He never played the lead, but you always remembered him. That’s real talent.”

He began acting at age seven in CHiPs and gained fame as Clint Bruno in Dazed and Confused. He later starred in Boston Public, A Time to Kill, Boiler Room, and School of Rock. His final credited role was in the Hulu series Casual in 2018.
Fans took to social media to pay tribute: “Rest in peace, Nicky,” one wrote, while another called him “a genius talent who always delivered.”
