1. Personal Revelation
In her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, Meghan Markle opened up about losing her second child in 2020. She recounted feeling a “sharp cramp” while changing her son Archie’s diaper and later miscarrying. “You have to learn to detach from the thing that you have so much promise and hope for,” she shared with guest Reshma Saujani, who has also experienced miscarriage.
2. Public Support
The Duchess’s openness moved many online. Supportive comments included, “You stay strong Meghan,” and “It’s very brave of you… Thank you.” Another wrote, “Meghan is really strong. Thanks for speaking out.”

3. Prince Harry’s Grief
Prince Harry described the loss in his memoir Spare, saying they “both wept” after leaving the hospital. “Under a spreading banyan tree, while Meg wept, I dug a hole with my hands and set the tiny package softly in the ground,” he wrote.
4. Ongoing Health Struggles
In an earlier episode, Markle revealed she also faced a “huge medical scare” from postpartum preeclampsia. “The world doesn’t know what’s happening quietly,” she said.
