A Surprising Revelation
Ashley St. Clair, former commentator for The Babylon Bee, revealed she had a child with Elon Musk. In a February post, she wrote, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father.” She said she kept it private to protect her child, Romulus. The name sparked online debate, with comments like, “Poor baby,” and, “At least Romulus is a NAME and not part of a mathematical equation, like poor X Æ A-Xii.”
A Secret Deal Falls Apart
According to The Wall Street Journal, Musk offered St. Clair $15 million and $100,000 monthly in exchange for silence. The deal barred her from mentioning him or criticizing him, but she never signed it. After her public post, Musk withdrew the offer and later cut payments down to $20,000.

Concerns for Their Son
St. Clair feared the agreement would make Romulus feel “illegitimate.” She also claimed Musk ignored her messages and failed to provide for future risks, like illness or his death.
Musk’s View on Family
Musk calls his children a “legion” and once texted, “To reach legion-level before the apocalypse, we will need to use surrogates.”
