Two decades after claiming an affair with David Beckham, former assistant Rebecca Loos is speaking out again—this time in response to Beckham’s renewed denial in his Netflix documentary.
Loos first made headlines in 2004, alleging an intimate relationship with Beckham while he was married to Victoria. “The chemistry between David and I was so strong,” she said, recalling nights together and intimate texts. “It was wrong, but I was hooked,” Loos admitted. She later felt “cheap and used,” especially after seeing Beckham flirt with other women.
When Beckham publicly dismissed the claims as “ludicrous,” Loos says she felt vilified. “He was the golden boy. All the blame was put on me and Victoria.”
Now a mother and living a quieter life, Loos says revisiting the scandal has been painful. “I went up against England’s favorite son,” she said. “It was a harsh environment.” She also acknowledged feeling guilt for hurting Victoria and their children.
Despite the backlash, Loos wanted to reclaim her story: “I was tired of being the villain in someone else’s version of the truth.”
