Cassie, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, took the stand this week in his ongoing trial, revealing shocking claims about the rapper’s alleged drug addiction and abusive behavior.
Under questioning, Cassie said Diddy was addicted to opiates, along with using Ecstasy and MDMA. She claimed he took opiates daily and described his withdrawal periods as making him “more irritable.” When asked what he was addicted to, she first joked “success,” before confirming the drug use.
Cassie also detailed the emotional and physical abuse she allegedly endured during their relationship. “The next thing I knew I was getting hit in the face,” she said, adding that Diddy would also control her with threats like “watch your mouth.”
She testified that she often hid injuries from her family. In one incident, she said Diddy threw her into a bed frame, leaving a deep gash above her eye. Instead of taking her to a hospital, his staff brought her to a plastic surgeon.
Photos of her swollen lip were shown in court as part of the evidence.
