Human remains were recently found near Taylor Swift’s Watch Hill mansion in Rhode Island, igniting fears of a “New England serial killer.” The discovery marks the 13th such case across states like Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts in recent months. A leg bone was found near Swift’s $17.75M seaside property on May 14, raising concern among locals.

Residents are alarmed by a string of similar cases, mostly involving female victims. Bodies have been discovered in rivers, woods, and even a suitcase. Among them was 35-year-old Paige Fannon, whose body was found in Norwalk River in March. Other victims include Denise Leary and Michele Romano.
Despite public concern and online speculation fueled by social media groups, police insist there’s no serial killer. “As far as I’m concerned… this has nothing to do with any serial killer,” said Westerly Police Chief Paul Gingerella. Officials say the remains span different timelines and show no connection. Authorities are urging the public not to spread panic, calling the rumors “unverified” and harmful to ongoing investigations.
