Sharay Hayes, a male escort, took the stand at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial on May 20. Hayes described multiple alleged encounters with Combs and Cassie Ventura between 2012 and 2016. He first met them at New York’s Trump International Hotel, thinking he was hired for a strip tease.
Hayes testified that Cassie, calling herself “Janet,” greeted him in a robe and wig. She allegedly said she and her “husband” liked to “create a sexy scene” with baby oil. The room was dimly lit, and Hayes claimed he was told: “Don’t acknowledge her husband. No eye contact.”

Hayes alleged he was involved in up to 12 similar sessions, where Combs would direct the scenes and make sexually explicit comments. “One time during sex he dropped a stack of money. He said, ‘I like this sh*t,’” Hayes said.
Though referred to as husband and wife, Ventura and Combs were never married. Hayes claimed his final encounter was in 2016, after which Cassie paid him and thanked him for his discretion.
