Sara Burack, a well-known realtor and reality TV personality, has died after a tragic hit-and-run in Hampton Bays. The 40-year-old was found unconscious on Montauk Highway around 2:45 a.m. Thursday and later died at Stony Brook University Hospital despite emergency efforts.
Police say Burack suffered severe injuries when a driver struck her and fled. Investigators are still searching for the vehicle and urge anyone with information to call Southampton Police at 631-702-2230. No suspect or car description has been released yet.
Burack gained fame on Netflix’s Million Dollar Beach House and was respected in the luxury real estate scene in New York and the Hamptons. Friends and fans flooded social media with tributes, remembering her as “kind, generous, funny & full of life.”
Loved ones plan to hold a memorial in the Hamptons to celebrate her life. As the community mourns, they hope justice will be served for a woman whose passion and presence touched so many.
