David Beckham is recovering in the hospital after an issue with his right arm — the same arm he injured over two decades ago during a 2003 match. His wife, Victoria Beckham, shared the news on Instagram early June 27, posting a photo of David smiling in a hospital bed with his arm in a sling.
In another picture, David’s tattooed hand holds a bead bracelet reading “♥︎ Get well soon ♥︎.” The caption simply read, “Get well soon daddy,” offering no details on what caused the hospitalization. However, fans quickly connected it to his previous injury.

Back in May 2003, Beckham broke his right wrist during a friendly match between England and South Africa after a rough tackle. It’s unclear if his current hospital visit is related, but the timing and arm suggest a possible link.
Despite the scare, David seems in good spirits — and Victoria’s lighthearted post suggests he’s doing fine. Just last week, he was knighted by King Charles. Victoria celebrated the honor online, calling him her “knight in shining armour — now officially.”
