TV Reporter Nathan Templeton Has Died Aged 44

TV journalist Nathan Templeton, known for his work on Seven’s Sunrise and sports coverage, has passed away at the age of 44. Templeton, a respected figure in Australian media, had been with Seven Network for over 12 years. Though he hadn’t been on-air since late 2022, his contribution remained significant behind the scenes until his untimely death. Tributes poured in from colleagues and friends. Former Australian rules football player Jude Bolton mourned Templeton’s sudden passing, while Channel 9 sports reporter Corey Norris hailed him as a “brilliant broadcaster.” Stephen Quartermain from Network 10 remembered him as vibrant and talented. Templeton’s last social media post, featuring an Easter egg hunt with his family, became a platform for fans to express condolences.

Templeton was found deceased near Barwon River in Geelong after a medical episode while walking his dog. Police stated no suspicion of foul play. He leaves behind his wife Kate and two sons. Rest in peace, Nathan Templeton.
