A 17-year-old girl accused of killing her mother and stepfather is under intense scrutiny after disturbing social media posts surfaced following the tragic incident.
Sarah Grace Patrick has been charged as an adult with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault after her mother, Kristin Brock (41), and stepfather, James Brock (45), were found shot to death in their Carrollton, Georgia home on February 20.
Initially appearing grief-stricken, Patrick posted emotional selfies and TikTok videos, mourning the loss of her parents. In one post, she claimed, “They won’t get to see me graduate or walk down the aisle.” She even delivered a tearful eulogy, telling mourners, “I never imagined y’all not being here.”

However, authorities now view those posts as chilling cover-ups. Investigators say Patrick, then 16, was inside the home during the shootings and called 911 after her 5-year-old sister found the bodies. With no sign of forced entry or robbery, police began focusing on someone inside the home.
Social posts revealed emotional captions, expressing guilt over her younger sister discovering the scene. One read, “I hate myself for not waking up before she did.”
After collecting overwhelming physical and digital evidence, police issued a warrant. Patrick turned herself in on July 8. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities say more arrests are possible.
