Kelly Osbourne is setting the record straight on recent rumors about her parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. The 40-year-old TV personality lashed out on Instagram after reports resurfaced claiming the couple had a “suicide pact” in place for the event of a terminal illness.
The rumor traces back to Sharon’s 2023 podcast comment, where she mentioned euthanasia was “still a plan” if suffering became unbearable. Ozzy had also spoken about assisted suicide in 2014, saying he’d consider it if diagnosed with a life-threatening condition.
But Kelly insists it’s not true. “Stop making posts saying my parents have a suicide pact,” she raged in an Instagram story on July 11. “That was bulls**t my mom said once to get attention. And my dad is not dying. Stop!”

She also addressed a viral AI-generated video mimicking Ozzy’s voice, falsely claiming he knows he’s dying. Kelly called the clip “sick” and urged people to stop spreading misinformation.
Ozzy, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2003, recently performed his emotional final show in Birmingham, England. Despite health struggles, Kelly emphasizes that her father is still very much alive and that the rumors need to end.
