Dax Shepard Shares Congratulatory Post About His Wife Kristen Bell’s Emmy Nomination, Sparking Buzz

Dax Shepard celebrated wife Kristen Bell’s Emmy nomination with a cheeky Instagram post that got people talking. Bell, nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Nobody Wants This, was pictured in just socks and an upside-down pose. Shepard joked, “This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!”

Fans were split. Some praised his over-the-top support—“awesome to see a man unequivocally supportive of his wife,” one wrote. Others felt the image was too personal, with one commenter saying, “Isn’t that personal??? GROSS you guys.” Still, many defended the couple’s playful vibe.

The post came after the Netflix show scored three Emmy nominations, also recognizing Adam Brody for Outstanding Lead Actor. Bell herself reacted with joy on Instagram, celebrating alongside co-star Erin Foster.

Married since 2013, Shepard and Bell have never shied away from sharing the real—and sometimes awkward—parts of their relationship. And while not everyone approved of Dax’s post, the couple clearly continues to do things their own way.
