A doctor has shared insights on why some people claim they’ve never broken a bone, addressing both unusual and scientific theories. Online, some believe “spiritual protection” or “good karma” keeps them safe, while others think it’s linked to past life trauma. TikTok creator Sara’s Weird World suggested, “Those people may be protected by higher powers, almost untouchable.”
However, medical expert Dr. Suhail Hussain says bone health is not about luck or divine protection. “It’s a mix of your genes, lifestyle, and even what you eat,” he told LADbible. “Bone strength is largely inherited. Some people have thinner bones that can snap more easily.”

Lifestyle choices also play a big role. Smoking, heavy drinking, and lack of exercise can increase the risk of fractures. “Lifestyle plays a huge role in whether or not you’ll suffer a fracture one day,” Dr. Hussain added.
The Royal Osteoporosis Society recommends a balanced diet rich in calcium, vitamin D, and essential nutrients to keep bones strong and reduce the chance of breaks.
