A Mother of 10 Felt Bloated & Had Swelling in Her Legs – Weeks Later, She Died from a Rare Form of Cancer

Angela Goodrich, a devoted mother of ten from Utah, spent her last days teaching others about a rare cancer that silently took over her body. She noticed minor symptoms early in 2025 but brushed them aside, too busy caring for her big family. By the time she was diagnosed with Stage 4 adrenocortical carcinoma, the cancer had spread rapidly.

Angela’s swelling and constant fatigue were first blamed on hormones. It wasn’t until an urgent care visit revealed dangerously low potassium that doctors found tumors in her adrenal gland, liver, and lungs. “An ER doctor came in and just kind of said, ‘Tumor this and Tumor that,’” Angela recalled.

Despite grueling chemo, Angela shared her story publicly to warn others. Her husband Matt and their children stood by her side, surrounded by a supportive community who helped with meals and donations.

Angela gave her final interview after her first chemo session and passed away peacefully hours later. Her family hopes her bravery helps others catch this hidden disease sooner.
