Alfonso Ribeiro may be best known as Carlton Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but at home, he’s simply Dad. Now 54, the actor and TV host is raising four children from two marriages, and he often shares snapshots of their close-knit blended family. His kids range in age from six to 23, and each brings a different spark to the household.
His oldest is Sienna Michele Ribeiro, born October 7, 2002, to Ribeiro and actress Robin Stapler, whom he met on the set of In the House. The couple later divorced in August 2006, but shared joint custody and continued supporting Sienna as she pursued acting. Her credits include appearances on NCIS, the 2022 thriller Deadly Cheers, and The Lightning Code (2025).
Ribeiro found love again with Angela Unkrich. He proposed in 2012 at Lake Tahoe, with friends—and Sienna—nearby, later calling it the greatest day of his life. They married in October 2012 and welcomed three children: Alfonso “AJ” Ribeiro Jr. (born October 27, 2013), Anders Reyn Ribeiro (born April 30, 2015), and Ava Sue Ribeiro (born May 12, 2019).

Angela frequently posts heartfelt tributes describing AJ as thoughtful and gentle, Anders as curious with a smile that lights up a room, and Ava as bold, imaginative, and full of personality. Together, the Ribeiros show how a blended family can thrive on warmth, support, and showing up for one another.
