Ana Orsini, a beloved TV news anchor, has died unexpectedly at just 28 years old. A Texas A&M graduate, she began her career in 2018 and most recently worked at KOLD News 13 in Tucson, Arizona, where she joined in June 2023.
Fellow anchor Tyler Butler announced the news on-air, saying, “Our beloved friend and co-anchor Ana Orsini passed away unexpectedly last week.” Carsyn Currier added, “We are devastated by this loss.” Co-workers described her as “truly one of a kind,” with “bottomless empathy” and a unique, magnetic presence.

Butler later confirmed that Orsini died of a brain aneurysm, calling it “so horrible, so sudden.” He remembered her heartfelt nature, sharing, “She’d snap, ‘Hey! Don’t talk about my friend like that!’ if I joked about myself.”
Orsini was known for her love of animal rescue, true crime podcasts, and peanut butter M&Ms. Her compassion and humor left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
