Couple had sex in MRI machine to show what happens inside body

    Sex in MRI

Back in 1991, Ida Sabelis and her boyfriend Jupp did it.
They had sex inside an MRI machine for an experiment.

    Scientist behind it

Meanwhile, Dutch scientist Menko Victor ‘Pek’ van Andel led the work.
He wanted to see what happens inside bodies during sex.

    What the journal said

Later, the experiment featured in a British Medical Journal 1999 entry.
    It concluded:
“taking magnetic resonance images of the male and female genitals during coitus is feasible and contributes to understanding of anatomy”.

    What scans showed

However, the study described clear findings from the images.
“The images obtained showed that during intercourse in the ‘missionary position’ the penis has the shape of a boomerang and 1/3 of its length consists of the root of the penis.

“During female sexual arousal without intercourse the uterus was raised and the anterior vaginal wall lengthened. The size of the uterus did not increase during sexual arousal.”

    Ida remembers it

Now Ida reflected on it on the What It Was Like podcast.
“This was one of the first MRI machines ever, so taking the photos took some time.

“There was a command from the control room to keep in position for, I don’t know, a minute.

“So it was hilarious in that sense. Jupp and I wriggled into that machine and started doing our thing. Thankfully we didn’t get claustrophobic.”

Still, she said it was not romantic, yet an ‘act of love and a performance’.
Finally, she said she backed women’s rights and wanted better science on women.

He says he wants to rescue New York from “evil” Zohran Mamdani.

    Rapaport enters race

Michael Rapaport says he intends to run for New York mayor in 2029.
He has been heavily critical of Zohran Mamdani since New Year’s Day.

    Mamdani’s win and plan

Mamdani was sworn in as mayor of New York City on New Year’s Day.
Many welcomed his win as a break from Democratic Party status quo.

After interviewing Trump voters on the streets, Mamdani ran on affordability.
His policies focused on rising rents and the cost of groceries.

    Podcast announcement

Meanwhile, Rapaport opened his I Am Rapaport podcast on Monday with this:
“Welcome to the ziggy zone of disruption. My name is Michael Rapaport, a.k.a. Mayor Rapaport. Mr. Mayor Rapaport, a.k.a. The Gringo Mandingo, a.k.a. The Enflamed Ashkenazi, a.k.a. The Sultan of Sniff.”

Later, he revealed his plan at the end of the episode.
“Let me tell you something, guys, girls, women, children of all ages,” he began.

“2025 was crazy, and I don’t see it getting any f*cking calmer or cooler in 2026, the way things started. That’s why I’m running for mayor.”

    Shots at Mamdani

    Then he added:
“Born. Raised. NYC. Nothing’s free. No bullsh*t. No fake grins. I’ll own my mistakes, apologize when I screw up, and fight to make this city safe, affordable, and thriving.

“You got Zoron [sic] the Moron now… Mayor Rapaport is coming.”

    Still, he also said:
“He’s got a fcking evil fcking grin. And I think he’s up to no good.”

    Others weigh in

Also, Debra Messing criticized Mamdani, calling him “an actual communist jihadist.”
She also called him “a literal Karl Marx-quoting, America-hating jihadist.”

Finally, Mamdani has called himself a “democratic socialist” and spoke about faith.
“Regardless of whether we agree, I will protect you, celebrate with you, mourn alongside you, and never, not for a second, hide from you.”

Jenna Ortega Defends Miller’s Girl Age Gap After Backlash

Jenna Ortega has addressed criticism over the film’s 30-year age gap storyline.

    Backlash hits film

Jenna Ortega has spoken out about controversy around a 30-year gap.
The debate centers on her movie Miller’s Girl, opposite Martin Freeman.

    Viewers react online

However, the film drew backlash after release, and viewers posted online.
One user on X called it:
“so gross! So, so, so, so gross!”

    Another called a scene:
“the worst thing I’ve ever seen,”

Meanwhile, someone addressed Freeman directly, posting:
“MARTIN FREEMAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO JENNA ORTEGA.”

    Ortega responds

Now the 22-year-old addressed the on-screen relationship in Vanity Fair.
Her character is 18-year-old Cairo Sweet, and Freeman plays teacher Jonathan Miller.

Released in January 2024, the film explores an inappropriate teacher-student dynamic.
Still, Ortega said the premise is meant to be unsettling.

“It’s not supposed to be a comfortable movie. It’s supposed to be awful at times.”

    Then she added:
“Art isn’t always meant to be pleasant or happy, [where] everyone skips off into the sunset at the end. We all have f–ked up experiences at one point or another.”

    Freeman defends intent

Later, Freeman spoke to The Times in April.
“The film is grown-up and nuanced. It’s not saying, ‘Isn’t this great?’”

    He also said:
“Are we gonna have a go at Liam Neeson for being in a film about the Holocaust?”

    Coordinator and scores

Also, intimacy coordinator Kristina Arjona spoke in February, per the Daily Mail.
“There were many, many people throughout this process engaging with [Ortega] to make sure that it was consistent with what she was comfortable with,” said Arjona.

Finally, the film earned under $900,000 worldwide on a $4 million budget.
It has a 29% critics score and 42% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Donald Trump Reveals When Americans Will Receive $2,000 Check

Trump Finally Addresses $2,000 Check Timing

A new update explains if Trump’s $2,000 checks arrive before 2026.

    What was reported

    By Mia Williams. Published 13:06 27 November 2025. Updated 17:25 05 January 2026.

Donald Trump has finally revealed the timing for his promised payment.

Americans have waited since November for $2,000 checks for almost everyone.

    Trump’s November post

Now, Trump points back to a November 9 Truth Social post.

“People that are against Tariffs are FOOLS!
“We are taking in trillions of dollars and will soon begin paying down our ENORMOUS DEBT, $37 Trillion.
“Record investment in the USA, plants and factories going up all over the place.
“A dividend of at least $2000 a person (not including high income people!) will be paid to everyone.”

However, the administration earlier said tariff revenue had other uses.

It would fund existing tax cuts or reduce federal debt.

    Who may qualify

Still, eligibility remains unclear beyond excluding ‘high income’ people.

Trump later said ‘moderate income’ people will receive it, without figures.

Also, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the ‘payment’ may vary.

“It could come in lots of forms, in lots of ways.
“You know, it could be just the tax decreases that we are seeing on the president’s agenda.
“You know, no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security, deductibility of auto loans. So, you know, those are substantial deductions.”

Meanwhile, SSA expert Blind to Billionaire shared income thresholds.

“It is based on your income – that’s it.
“I’ll make it very clear here, is your income below $75,000 a year, as an individual, yes or no?
“That’s it – that’s all you need to know.
“If your answer is yes, you are most likely eligible for this.”

“Generally, the threshold they put in place for income is $75,000 as an individual, $150,000 dollars as a married couple.”

    Obstacles and costs

Later, legal and political hurdles remain for the plan.

The US Supreme Court questioned tariffs under the IEEPA.

Now, estimates put the cost at $600 billion to fund.

Tariffs raised $90 billion since April, leaving a large gap.

    Timing on checks

Trump also posted again on Truth Social about tariff benefits.

“The full benefit of the tariffs has not yet been calculated in that many of the buyers of goods and products, in order to avoid paying the tariffs in the short term, ‘STOCK UP’ by purchasing far more inventory than they can use.
“We are already the ‘hottest’ country anywhere in the world, but this tariff POWER will bring America national security and wealth the likes of which has never been seen before.”

Finally, Trump addressed timing on Air Force One last year.

    “It will be next year.
“The tariffs allow us to give a dividend. We’re going to do a dividend and we’re also going to be reducing debt.”

Sacha Baron Cohen Fans Grossed Out After Finding Out Who He’s Now Dating

Sacha Baron Cohen Fans React to New Romance

Fans are criticizing Sacha Baron Cohen’s reported new relationship with Hannah Palmer.

    Online backlash

Sacha Baron Cohen fans are grossed out after learning who he is dating.

Many are taking to social media and reacting to news.

    An X user writes:
“This is giving me major ick vibes. She’s closer in age to his teenage daughter than to him.”

    Another adds:
“She could literally be his daughter.”

    Somebody else says:
“Used to be a huge fan but this is just creepy behavior from a 53-year-old man,”

    A fourth comments:
“The power dynamic here is so problematic,” comments a fourth. “Famous, wealthy comedian in his 50s dating a woman barely out of her twenties? Not a good look.”

    Divorce timeline

The controversy comes months after Cohen divorced Isla Fisher in June 2025.

The former couple settled their £120 million ($245 million) divorce, per Yahoo.

They announced their separation in April 2024 after nearly 15 years.

Also, Cohen and Fisher share three children: Olive, Elula, and Montgomery.

They said they remain ‘proud of all we’ve achieved together.’

They also said they have ‘great respect’ as co-parents.

    Fisher’s Instagram post

However, tensions may have emerged after a Fisher Instagram post.

    She wrote:
“For all those men who say ‘Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free,’ here’s an update for you. Nowadays, 80 percent of women are against marriage. Why? They realize it’s not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage.”

Later, Fisher said she’s ‘had a tough couple of years but I’m making it through,’ per The Sun.

    New dating report

Now, Cohen appears to have moved on with 27-year-old Hannah Palmer.

Palmer is an OFs model and social media influencer with three million followers.

Still, critics cite their 26-year age gap.

Palmer claims over £4 million ($8 million) in her first year.

    Where they were seen

Meanwhile, Palmer was photographed leaving a Los Angeles restaurant with Cohen.

They arrived separately at 8:30 p.m., the Mirror reports.

Then they talked for two hours and later left separately.

Finally, they entered the same Cadillac Escalade limousine.

  • What Could Happen If Donald Trump Tried To Take Greenland

What Could Happen If Donald Trump Tried To Take Greenland

    Why fears are rising

Concern is growing in Greenland after Donald Trump’s US operation in Venezuela.
People are asking what could happen if he tried to take Greenland.

    What happened in Venezuela

Trump said that in the early hours of Saturday morning, January 3, US forces captured President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.
He said they were taken aboard the USS Iwo Jima helicopter.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi said both were indicted in the Southern District of New York.
She wrote on X: “They will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts.”

Trump also said the US will “run” Venezuela until a “safe, proper and judicious transition.”
He added: “We’re going to be running it with a group, and we’re going to make sure it’s run properly.”

    Why Trump wants Greenland

Trump, 79, first showed interest in March 2025 after sending Vice President JD Vance to inspect a naval base there.
He has repeated his “need” for Greenland, including after the Venezuela raid.

On Air Force One, he said: “We need Greenland for a national security situation.”
He added: “It’s so strategic. Right now, Greenland is covered with Russian and Chinese ships all over the place.”

A day earlier, he said: “We do need Greenland, absolutely. We need it for defence.”

    What Denmark and allies said

Greenland belongs to Denmark, a NATO and European Union member.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said: “It makes absolutely no sense to talk about the US needing to take over Greenland.”

She added: “The US has no right to annex any of the three countries in the Danish Kingdom.”
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said: “Only Denmark and Greenland have the right to decide about their territories.”

    What a takeover could trigger

A US military move would mean attacking a NATO ally, Frederiksen said.
She said NATO treats an attack on one member as an attack on all.

NATO decisions need all members to agree, and the US is a member.
Trump can send troops first, without Congress, but must notify Congress within 48 hours.

If Congress does not approve, the operation ends after about 90 days.
Denmark could turn to the United Nations, arguing the US broke international law.

Netflix viewers say a new true crime documentary is hard to watch.
Some say they stop it halfway through because it makes them feel sick.

    What the film is about

The film follows Jodie Hildebrandt, a Mormon therapist and life coach.
It tracks her fall into a child-abuse scandal.

She was arrested alongside Ruby Franke, a former YouTube mom-influencer.
The documentary looks at abuse, online influence, and religious extremism.

A third posted: “This was beyond f***ed. I couldn’t watch it the whole way through.”
Someone else added: “Just finished watching this documentary. I cried, felt angry and sick to my stomach.”

    Who Ruby Franke is

Ruby Franke ran the YouTube channel “8 Passengers” with her husband, Kevin.
It showed life with their six children and gained millions of subscribers.

Viewers raised concerns for years about her strict parenting style.
Clips showed children denied food and sleeping on bean bags.

The arrests and the Netflix title

The case broke in August 2023 after a child escaped Hildebrandt’s home.
Police found signs of severe neglect, including malnourishment and restraint.

Authorities said Franke’s two youngest children lived in deeply abusive conditions.
Both women were arrested and charged with multiple counts of aggravated child abuse.

The documentary is titled The Evil Influencer.
It includes testimony from law enforcement, former clients, and family members.

The Evil Influencer is currently streaming on Netflix.

Gen Z Has Picked A New Name For The Millennial ‘Karen’ And People Aren’t Happy

    Why “Karen” is fading

Gen Z has picked a new name for the millennial “Karen.”
The old label has made “Karen” a rare baby name.

In the US, 331 baby girls were named Karen in 2023.
It is seen as almost extinct, suggesting near-zero for 2024.

    What “Karen” means online

The nickname was first coined in 2020.
It describes a middle-class woman linked to privilege.

A “Karen” may ask for the manager at a restaurant.
They may share anti-vaccination ideas or cause public scenes.

    Who complains the most

A study of Tripadvisor reviews says the top complainer is “David.”
Davids left the most negative reviews overall.

Men were 131% more likely to complain online than women.
    Paul ranked close behind David.

John, Mark, Chris, James, Michael, Andrew and Peter followed.
Sarah was the first woman listed, at number ten.

    How people reacted

Writer and podcaster Karen Geier told The Guardian it is annoying.
“I spend a lot of time on Twitter, so I find it rather annoying.”

“Anything you say, people can be like, ‘OK, well, whatever, KAREN’.”
“It’s supposed to be about people who want to speak to the manager.”

Others brushed it off, saying: “I don’t mind the meme. It’s not me.”

    Gen Z’s new “Karen” name

A viral TikTok clip now has over 40k likes.
The user said: “We will pick our own Karen.”

She listed Ashley, Brittany, Heather, Amber, Tiffany, Jessica, Nicole, Becky, or Kelsey.
Comments backed one name most: Jessica.

One TikTok user said: “I’ve never met a pleasant Jessica.”
Another added: “Haven’t met one that doesn’t fit as a Karen.”

Jessica users pushed back in the comments.
“PLEASE!! I’m a good person,” one Jessica wrote.

Charlie Kirk’s Wife Erika Makes Heartbreaking Baby Confession

Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, has opened up two months after his tragic death, sharing how she is coping and what she wishes could have been different. Her words give a raw look into grief, family, and the future she and Charlie had hoped for.

Her most heartbreaking admission is that she prayed she might be pregnant at the time he was killed.

Erika has spoken often about her husband’s death, describing the painful swings between deep sorrow and moments of unexpected comfort. She refuses to watch the video of the shooting, saying it would leave a mark she could never erase. She also stresses how easily people forget that life is fragile and precious.

Despite the tragedy, Erika has chosen to keep moving forward. She announced that Charlie’s podcast will continue, with rotating hosts to keep his mission alive. She wants his work to remain a guiding voice for the movement he cared about.

Erika is also using her experience to encourage young women and couples to start families sooner rather than later. She says careers can wait, but the window for children cannot. She and Charlie had dreamed of having four kids, which makes her confession even more emotional: she hoped she might be pregnant when he died, believing it could have been a small blessing during unthinkable loss.

  • Motorist Convinced ‘99% Of Drivers’ Don’t Know What This Sign Means

Motorist Convinced ‘99% Of Drivers’ Don’t Know What This Sign Means

    What drivers are debating

A motorist says “99% of drivers” do not know one common UK sign.
They posted on Reddit: “I’m convinced 99% of drivers don’t know what this sign means.”

    What the sign looks like

The sign is round with a white background.
It has a thick black diagonal stripe through the middle.

    What people guessed online

Some users made jokes in the comments.
    One wrote: “National drifting zone.”

Another said: “National speed limit, but what that limit depends on what you’re driving. For example, if you’re driving a BMW, it’s 100mph and excuses you from using indicators.”

One person added: “Oh, that’s the ‘go as fast as you want and overtake on a bend if you feel like it’ sign!”
Another guessed: “It means ‘minimum speed – 80,’” and someone replied: “In my experience, it’s ‘max 40.’”

    What it actually means

The sign means the national speed limit applies.
The RAC says: ”A white circular sign with a single black diagonal stripe through it tells you that the national speed limit applies on the upcoming stretch of road.”

“It supersedes any previous speed limit signs you may have had to adhere to, such as passing through temporary roadworks.”

    How the national limits work

In built-up areas, the limit is 30mph for all vehicles.
That means street lamps are no more than 200 yards apart.

On a single carriageway, cars can do 60 mph.
Vans and vehicles towing a trailer or caravan can do 50 mph.

On dual carriageways and motorways, cars can do 70 mph.
Vans and vehicles towing a caravan or trailer can do 60 mph.

The RAC warns: “Of course, even when the national speed limit applies, it might not always be safe to drive at that speed, so use your common sense on this,” the RAC warns.
