A horrifying tragedy has shaken a small village in India. A five-year-old boy was brutally killed in front of his mother after a stranger allegedly broke into their home. Local reports named the child as Vikesh, who had been playing outside before the shocking attack.
The suspect, identified as Mahesh, 25, entered the family’s home in Ali village, Madhya Pradesh. He reportedly picked up a spade lying nearby and attacked the child, fatally severing his neck. The boy’s mother tried desperately to protect him but was also injured during the assault. Neighbors rushed in after hearing her cries and managed to capture the attacker, beating him severely.
Police confirmed the suspect died from his injuries on the way to the hospital. “The actual cause of death will only be known after a post-mortem,” said Dhar Superintendent of Police Mayank Awasthi. He also stated the attacker had no prior link to the boy or his family.
One villager said, “This was pure evil. We cannot believe such horror happened here.” The case has left the community in shock and mourning. How could such senseless violence strike the most innocent?
