San Francisco authorities have issued an update after the sudden death of Victoria Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones.
Victoria was found unresponsive on the 14th floor of the Fairmont San Francisco in the early hours of New Year’s Day. A hotel guest reportedly became concerned that she may have been intoxicated and alerted staff. Employees rushed over, started CPR, and called emergency services. Paramedics arrived shortly before 3 a.m., and she was pronounced dead at the scene. San Francisco Police and the Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating.

A police spokesperson told TMZ that officers responded at about 3:14 a.m. to a report of a deceased woman. Paramedics at the scene confirmed the death. The cause of death has not been released.
A source cited by the Daily Mail said investigators did not find signs of physical trauma, drug paraphernalia, or foul play. The source also said there were no indications she took her own life. Police have not confirmed whether Victoria was staying at the hotel. They also have not said how she ended up on the 14th floor.

Victoria acted in a few projects when she was younger. Her credits include Men in Black II (2002), One Tree Hill (2003), and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005). She later stepped back from the spotlight but was seen with her father at public events, including a 2017 film premiere.
In the year before her death, the New York Post reported that she had been arrested several times. Authorities have not linked those incidents to her death.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
