Actor Adam Turck, 35, was tragically shot and killed in Richmond, Virginia, while walking his dog on a Saturday morning. He stepped in to help a woman who was arguing with her boyfriend. Moments later, the man pulled a gun, shot Adam, and then turned the weapon on himself.
Police arrived quickly and rushed both men to the hospital. Sadly, Adam did not survive. His family shared that his organs will be donated—his final act of kindness.
“Adam put his life on the line to protect someone in need,” his family said. “That’s what heroes do.”
Adam was known and loved in Richmond’s theater and fitness communities. He won a Best Actor award in 2018 and was preparing for a lead role this fall. Friends say he was brave, loyal, and always stepped up when others needed help.
“You’ve seen the Superman tributes,” his family added. “We’re going to keep looking up—for you, Adam.”
