Breaking: Hospital Locked Dow

A Michigan hospital was thrown into chaos before sunrise after a shooting triggered a full lockdown.

Police rushed to Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital after reports that a hospital employee was shot in the parking lot during what authorities described as a targeted attack. Staff hid behind locked doors as officers searched the building for the suspect.

The victim was hit in the arm and later reported in stable condition. Investigators say the suspected gunman was also an employee, and the violence may have followed a workplace dispute.

The lockdown was later lifted, but for many inside the hospital, the fear of that morning will not be forgotten.
