In her new documentary, country star Wynonna Judd reflects on life after losing her mother and musical partner, Naomi Judd. Despite the hardships, she’s grateful for her husband, Cactus Moser’s unwavering support. “Marrying Cactus was one of the greatest days of my life because I’ve never trusted someone and loved someone simultaneously like I love Cactus,” Judd expressed in the film.
Their bond was tested early on when Moser underwent a leg amputation following a motorcycle accident months after their marriage. “She had to become a nurse… it was horrid,” Moser recalled. But through it all, they found strength together. “That’s kind of our thing, even in the worst times we can figure out how to get past it and thank God, find a happy place,” Moser explained.
Their blended family, including Judd’s two children and Moser’s three, adds to their joy. As Sunshine, Moser’s daughter, noted, they’re the couple everyone admires. Judd acknowledges Moser as her rock. “He will take me by my hands and say, ‘Honey, you’ve done your best.’ And I start to cry,” she shared. Their deep connection and Moser’s support give Judd hope. “He’s the most tough and tender man I’ve ever been with that I trust,” she affirmed. “We are so connected.”
