Carrie Underwood, a successful singer-songwriter, grew up in a devout Christian household that deeply influenced her life choices. One of these principles was to remain chaste until marriage. In 2007, she announced her decision to abstain from sexual intercourse until her wedding night. Three years later, she married NHL player Mike Fisher at age 27.
