Cassie speaks out in emotional statement following final testimony at Diddy trial

Cassie Ventura, 38 and eight months pregnant, testified last week in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial. The trial began on May 12 in Manhattan, with Combs facing charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, which he denies.

After her testimony, Cassie released a statement through her lawyer calling the week “extremely challenging but also remarkably empowering and healing.” She added, “The more I heal, the more I can remember—and the more I will never forget.”

Cassie thanked her family and supporters and expressed hope that her testimony gives strength to other survivors. “I hope my voice helps others speak up and heal,” she said. She asked for privacy as she prepares to welcome her child.

Cassie and Combs dated on and off for a decade, beginning when she was 19. In 2023, she sued him for abuse—alleging beatings, rape, and drug coercion. Though the case settled quickly, her claims resurfaced during the ongoing trial.
