Kanye West Demands People Stop Using His ‘Slave Name’ And Use His Real Name Instead

Kanye West is once again drawing attention — this time over what he wants people to call him. The rapper, now legally known as Ye, says he no longer wants anyone using what he calls his “slave name.”

A New Debate Around His Identity

Ye has been a constant presence in headlines for years, from his divorce from Kim Kardashian to his whirlwind relationships. Now, it’s his name that is sparking fresh discussion.

Fans and critics quickly reacted. Some said they respect anyone’s chosen name, even if they don’t agree with Ye’s behavior. Others argued that people misunderstand the meaning behind his decision.

    His Team Pushes for Consistency

Ye’s chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, recently sent letters to media outlets and digital platforms demanding they stop using “Kanye West.” The message describes Ye as “one of the most recognizable people in the world” and says the name change was not taken lightly.

The letter also claims he may be sacrificing significant value associated with his former name, yet he wants full recognition of his new identity.

    A Legally Approved Name

A Los Angeles judge approved Ye’s petition in 2021, eliminating both his first and middle names. Despite the legal change, many outlets still switch between Ye and Kanye, which Yiannopoulos wants to end.

    Why He Chose the Name

Ye has said the word “ye” appears frequently in the Bible and represents “you” — symbolizing unity and shared humanity. He explained that his transformation reflects both his personal growth and his artistic message.

After teasing the change on social media in 2018, he summed it up simply: “I am YE.”

Frugal mom-of-two sparks fierce debate after revealing that she CHARGES other parents for playdates with her children

A mother from Washington State has caused a major online debate after revealing that she charges other parents when their children visit her home for playdates.
Brianna Weimar, a 33-year-old mom of two from Monroe, shared her story on TikTok, where she has a large following. Her video showed a Venmo request she sent to another parent for $36 after hosting a playdate.

Playdate Fee Included Snacks, Soap, and Electricity

In her post, Brianna explained that she kept a running list of everything the visiting child used.
She charged for snacks, drinks, soap, and even calculated the cost of electricity used during video games. She also added a small cleaning fee after juice was spilled on her carpet.

Her list included items such as:

    • Two juice boxes
    • A bag of crackers
    • A yogurt snack
    • Three pumps of hand soap

The other parent responded angrily, calling the Venmo request a “price-gouging scheme.” Brianna defended herself, arguing that rising costs made it necessary to keep track of household expenses.

Internet Reactions Are Strong and Divided

Thousands of viewers weighed in. Most felt the request crossed a line.
One commenter wrote, “Friendships aren’t transactional.” Another said, “This is the quickest way to end all your son’s friendships.”

Others, however, supported the idea—so long as parents were warned in advance. A few even encouraged her to charge more, given inflation.

    Why She Started Charging

Brianna later explained that constant playdates were affecting her family budget. With food and household supplies getting more expensive, she created a detailed spreadsheet to calculate per-item costs.
She said she has even been charged herself in the past when her child accidentally damaged someone else’s belongings.

While her Venmo request was ultimately paid, Brianna admits many parents have refused to send their children over again.

  • Bride and groom slammed over ‘tacky’ request on wedding invitations: ‘So embarrassing’

Bride and groom slammed over ‘tacky’ request on wedding invitations: ‘So embarrassing’

A bride and groom have sparked debate online after adding a controversial request to their wedding invitations.
The pair, who have been together for six years and share a three-year-old child, said they no longer need traditional gifts because they have already built a home together. Instead, they prefer contributions toward their honeymoon.

The bride shared a draft of her invitation in a popular Facebook group and asked for help with the wording.
She explained that their budget had already been stretched and that they hoped guests would support their honeymoon fund rather than buy household items.

    Her current wording read:
“In lieu of traditional wedding gifts, the bride and groom have asked for gifts to their honeymoon fund.”

She told the group she did not want to sound rude and was unsure how to phrase the request politely.

The post quickly drew hundreds of comments. Many users felt the request was inappropriate.
One person wrote bluntly: “Don’t ask for money. There is no non-tacky way to do it.”

    Others offered gentler alternatives.
Some suggested creating a very small registry so guests “get the hint,” while others recommended including a discreet card with a QR code linking to the honeymoon fund instead of mentioning money directly on the main invitation.

A smaller group defended the couple, saying modern weddings often include similar requests and that guests would likely understand the situation.

This debate comes weeks after another couple faced criticism for an “aggressive” dress code. Their invitations required guests to wear black cocktail attire and avoid all colour, including white.
The strict rules sparked confusion online, with many calling the approach unnecessary.

Husband Believes Everyday Product Played a Role in Wife’s Ovarian Cancer

When Mark Fairweather remembers his late wife, Eva, one moment still breaks his heart. In the final days of her life, she held his hand and told him, “I just wanted to get old with you.”
The couple had been married for more than 40 years and expected to enjoy retirement together. Instead, everything changed when Eva was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in 2019.

A Sudden Illness With No Warning Signs

Eva lived a healthy lifestyle. She never smoked, drank rarely, stayed active, and always cared about her wellbeing. When she developed persistent stomach cramps and indigestion, she assumed it was something minor.
But tests soon revealed advanced ovarian cancer. She underwent major surgery and months of chemotherapy. Although she briefly regained strength, her cancer returned, and she passed away in August 2023 at age 63.

    Husband Joins Legal Action

Two years later, Mark believes an everyday product may have contributed to her illness: talcum powder. Eva had used it daily for decades.
He has joined a group legal claim involving more than 3,000 people in the UK. The lawsuit alleges that Johnson & Johnson’s talc-based baby powder may have been contaminated with asbestos, a known carcinogen, and that the company failed to warn consumers.
The company strongly rejects the claims, saying its product met regulatory standards and does not cause cancer.

    Questions About Long-Term Talc Use

Some studies have reported a possible link between long-term talc use in the genital area and a higher risk of ovarian cancer. Other experts say the evidence shows correlation, not proven causation.
Researchers remain divided, and courts have not yet reached a final conclusion in the UK.

    A Husband Seeking Accountability

For Mark, the issue is personal.
“This legal action won’t bring Eva back,” he said. “But people trusted this product. She used it to feel fresh, and she had no idea it could be harmful. She deserved better.”

  • New mutated strain of flu driving ‘worst illness in a decade’ across UK

New mutated strain of flu driving ‘worst illness in a decade’ across UK

Health experts say the UK may be entering one of its most severe flu seasons in a decade. Early signs suggest this year’s outbreak could be worse than last winter, when nearly 8,000 people died, and worse than the season before, when flu contributed to 16,000 deaths.
A new flu variant has appeared earlier than normal and is spreading faster, raising concern among doctors and public health officials.

    New Flu Strain Spreading Quickly

Researchers have identified a sudden change in the H3N2 flu strain, with seven new mutations detected this summer. Scientists say these changes appear to make the virus easier to catch and easier to pass on.
Professor Nicola Lewis from the World Influenza Centre told the BBC that this year’s pattern is “unusual” and “worrying,” though she urged people not to panic.

Rising Cases in the UK and Abroad

Flu cases began increasing in September and have continued to rise across the UK. Japan has already closed schools in response to large outbreaks.
Experts warn the number of infections may climb even faster as people spend more time indoors during the colder months.

Professor Christophe Fraser of the University of Oxford said the UK is “already well into” the flu season and that early indicators point to a “bad winter.”

NHS Urges People to Get Vaccinated

Health officials say the H3N2 subtype tends to be more severe and more disruptive than other strains. The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is encouraging everyone eligible to book their flu jab as soon as possible.
This includes people over 65, pregnant women, children, and those with conditions such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease.

How to Protect Yourself and Others

Doctors advise people with flu symptoms—such as fever, cough, or body aches—to limit contact with others and rest at home. Most people recover within one to two weeks, but symptoms can last longer.
If symptoms worsen or fail to improve after seven days, people should contact their GP.

  • Russian cryptocurrency fraudster and wife kidnapped and killed in UAE

Russian cryptocurrency fraudster and wife kidnapped and killed in UAE

Authorities in the United Arab Emirates have detained several suspects after a Russian cryptocurrency fraudster and his wife were kidnapped and killed overseas.
Roman Novak and his wife, Anna, were reported missing in early October when family members could no longer reach them. Local media in the UAE confirmed on November 7 that the couple had been held for ransom and later killed when the kidnappers failed to obtain the money they demanded.

Police in the UAE have arrested several Russian nationals believed to be involved. Officials say the suspects will be extradited to Saint Petersburg as the investigation continues.
Relatives tracked the couple’s phones for several days after their disappearance. Signals were detected in Hatta, Oman, and even Cape Town, South Africa, before going silent on October 4. Anna’s father later traveled to Dubai to collect the pair’s young children.

Novak had a documented history of financial crimes. In 2020, he was convicted of fraud and sentenced to six years in a general regime colony. Before his latest disappearance, he promoted himself as a successful crypto entrepreneur and founder of the platform Fintopio, which he claimed could process fast digital payments.

Investigators say he persuaded investors from China, the Middle East, and other regions to put money into his project. He allegedly promised big partnerships and claimed connections to high-profile figures. Reports suggest he may have secured around $500 million before fleeing. Employees were left unpaid and investors lost access to their funds.

Some Russian media outlets speculate that investors defrauded by Novak may have been linked to the crime, though investigators have not confirmed this. Several suspects have reportedly confessed, but the couple’s bodies have still not been recovered.

Authorities say the case remains active and expect more details to emerge as the extradition process unfolds.

  • Mum ‘kills son, 3, after years of abuse to make room for baby with new boyfriend’

Mum ‘kills son, 3, after years of abuse to make room for baby with new boyfriend’

A Michigan mother has admitted to her role in the death of her three-year-old son after years of documented abuse. Amanda Maison, 33, pleaded guilty to second-degree homicide in connection with the 2018 death of her son, Matthew Maison, in Port Huron Township.

Matthew was discovered unresponsive by his babysitter on February 18, 2018. His mother and her then-boyfriend, Maurice Houle, were later arrested. An autopsy showed the child died from extensive injuries. Prosecutors say both adults admitted to mistreating the boy before his death.

During her plea hearing on November 5, Maison told the court she had been in a two-year relationship with Houle at the time. She admitted she allowed the abuse to continue and hid the child’s injuries from authorities.
She also confessed to taking part in physical punishment and to helping conceal the cause of Matthew’s death from police and child protection agencies.

According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, investigators uncovered a long pattern of abuse beginning in 2016. Prosecutors say Matthew was repeatedly harmed, left without food or water for extended periods, and subjected to frightening “discipline” methods. Authorities say Maison and Houle created false stories to explain the boy’s previous injuries.

Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Joshua Sparling called the case “extremely serious,” describing Matthew as a child who endured prolonged suffering.

Prosecutors allege the couple planned to remove Matthew from their lives to make room for a future child together—an accusation supported by statements made during the investigation.

Maison initially faced a first-degree murder charge but agreed to plead guilty to second-degree homicide. As part of her plea deal, she will testify against Houle, whose trial is scheduled for early 2026.

  • Sick cannibal killer claims ‘nothing beats sensation of eating humans’

Sick cannibal killer claims ‘nothing beats sensation of eating humans’

A convicted murderer from France has spoken publicly about the dark fixation that led to his crimes. Nico Claux, often referred to by the media as the “Vampire of Paris,” discussed how his disturbing interests developed long before his arrest.

Claux said his fixation began in childhood after the sudden death of his grandfather. By his early teens, he became drawn to macabre stories involving violent crimes. He later admitted that these stories fueled unhealthy fantasies and influenced his behavior as he grew older.

As a young adult, Claux sought work in a Paris morgue. At the time, he said there was little formal training, and employees were often assigned duties without specialized oversight. Claux claimed this environment allowed his obsession to deepen, and he admitted he used his position to act on his impulses.

He later appeared on a podcast where he described his motivations as psychological rather than practical, saying his actions were driven by a desire for an emotional “rush.”

Claux went on to murder Thierry Bissonnier, a man he met online. Prosecutors said he intended to commit further acts after the killing but was interrupted before he could do so. He was arrested soon after when he attempted to use one of the victim’s bank checks.

Claux was sentenced to 12 years in prison and served more than seven before being released.

Claux has often been asked about his mindset during the crimes. He says people focus on the wrong things, insisting his motives were rooted in psychological compulsion rather than any specific “taste.”
He admitted that his behavior escalated because he allowed his fantasies to replace reality and judgment.

Authorities and mental-health experts have since pointed to his case as an extreme example of unchecked obsession turning into violence.

  • Woman says natural supplement saved her husband from terminal cancer

Woman says natural supplement saved her husband from terminal cancer

A woman in the U.S. says her husband made a surprising recovery after doctors told him he had an aggressive and incurable form of cancer. Jim Robinson first noticed blood when using the bathroom and believed it was a minor issue. Tests revealed a far more serious problem: colon cancer that had already spread to his liver and lymph nodes.

Jim, a retired welder and pipe fitter, faced several close calls during treatment. His weak immune system left him vulnerable, and a bout of food poisoning nearly claimed his life. In March 2025, after chemotherapy and liver surgery, he was told he was cancer-free.
But the relief was short-lived. Only months later, scans showed cancer in his small intestine and across his abdomen. Doctors said this time the disease was terminal.

Jim’s wife, Pegi, 64, said she refused to give up hope. During her search for anything that might help, she came across dandelion root, a herbal supplement. She researched laboratory studies and decided to add it to Jim’s daily routine.
According to Pegi, his blood markers began to improve within days. Two weeks later, scans reportedly showed his lesions had shrunk or disappeared. On October 6, Jim was told once again that he was cancer-free. He continues to receive maintenance chemotherapy.

Jim’s medical team has described his dramatic turnaround as unusual. However, they stress that there is no scientific proof that dandelion root cures cancer. Existing studies involve test tubes and animal models, not human clinical trials.
Even so, Pegi believes her husband’s recovery offers a message of hope. “We thought life was over,” she said. “Now we feel like it’s beginning again.”
