Online users now target Charlie Kirk and his wife, Erika, with “transvestigation” claims. The term means people try to “expose” public figures as transgender.
These posts spread on X, Facebook groups, and niche forums. One group, “Transvestigation Disclosure NOW,” shared old pageant photos of Erika. Members judged her jaw, body shape, and collarbones. They offered no real proof.
The article also says a gunman shot and killed Kirk on September 10 at Utah Valley University. It says police named Tyler Robinson, 22, as the suspect. Prosecutors filed an aggravated murder charge and other charges. The article says a court date is set for January.

After his death, the article says Erika took a larger public role. She now leads Turning Point USA and appears at major conservative events.
People who push “transvestigation” claims often target women. They use photo zooms and body “tests” to make accusations. They also target celebrities like:
- Beyoncé
- Taylor Swift
- Michelle Obama
- Serena Williams
This movement spreads anti-trans stigma and calls it “research.” Some versions also add antisemitic conspiracy claims. Credible evidence does not support these accusations.
The pattern stays the same:
- pick a public figure
- study photos for “clues”
- treat guesses as “proof”
