Scottish comedian Gary Little has died at age 61 after what reports describe as a climbing accident. The award-winning comic was due to perform in Aberdeen next month before his sudden passing.
Tributes poured in from friends and fans. Fellow comedian Kevin Bridges wrote, “RIP big Gary, very sad news.” Glasgow’s The Stand comedy club added, “An incredible comic, huge personality, and friend to many. He will be sorely missed.”

Known for his raw honesty and big laughs, Gary rose to fame in the early 2000s. His powerful storytelling made him one of Scotland’s most respected comedians. “Gary was a powerhouse on stage and a lovely guy with a heart of gold,” wrote the Some Laugh podcast team.
Gary shared his love for hiking with fans and often posted walks with his dog online. His passing leaves a huge gap in Scotland’s comedy scene. As one fan said, “The afterlife just got a lot funnier.”

His story is a reminder of how laughter connects us—and how deeply one man’s humor can touch countless lives.
