Country music star Lorrie Morgan, 65, is grieving the loss of her husband, Randy White, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at age 72. White had been battling mouth cancer since 2024. His death followed Morgan’s decision to cancel shows earlier this year to be by his side.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Morgan called White her “champion” and “rock,” reflecting on their 17-year relationship. Her son, Jesse Keith Whitley, also paid tribute, sharing emotional memories and thanking White for being a supportive father figure and spiritual guide.

White was a retired entrepreneur from Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. He and Morgan married in 2010 and kept a mostly private life just outside Nashville. Their bond remained strong until the end, with Morgan describing him as “the most gentle soul.”
White’s passing comes during a challenging time for Morgan, who recently released her personal album Dead Girl Walking. While she hasn’t confirmed when she’ll return to the stage, fans continue to offer love and support during this difficult time.
