A British couple known for having the UK’s largest family has been fined after skipping school for Disney. Noel and Sue Radford, parents of 22 children, took several of their kids and 11 grandchildren to Florida for a $70,000 Disney World vacation. The trip, meant to celebrate Sue’s 50th birthday, turned into a costly legal headache.
The couple, from Lancashire, were found guilty of failing to ensure regular school attendance for four of their children between March and May 2025. They were fined $88 per child plus court fees — adding over $1,000 to their already expensive getaway.

“Ensuring young people get a good education is vital,” said a council spokesperson. “Attendance is directly linked to achievement.”
Despite the controversy, the Radfords shared smiling family photos with Donald Duck online. Fans admired their togetherness, while others criticized the timing. Still, their story highlights a timeless struggle for parents everywhere — balancing family memories with responsibility.
