A cyclist was pushed into a canal after being told to “slow down” by a dog walker in Manchester. The disturbing moment was caught on Klaudia Mitura’s bike camera during her morning commute on July 19. Klaudia, 34, said, “I thought I was going to drown.”
In the video, Klaudia slows down near a couple walking their dog. One man blocks her path and yells, “Yeah, but you’re on a f**king bike,” before pushing her into the water. “They didn’t look back to see if I was okay,” she said. “I was strapped to the pedals and couldn’t swim.”
Klaudia remained in the canal for five minutes until a passerby rescued her. Her phone was ruined, and she had to take two days off work. “I’m traumatised and need help with my mental health,” she shared. “I can’t let my kids see me struggling.”
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the incident is under investigation. No arrests have been made yet, but inquiries continue. The video has gone viral on TikTok, with thousands expressing shock and support.
