Sean “Diddy” Combs has made a shocking move — asking President Donald Trump for a pardon after his prison sentence. The 55-year-old rapper was convicted of two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution and sentenced to more than four years behind bars.
Combs, once one of music’s biggest names, was arrested in New York last year on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. Though the jury cleared him of the most serious accusations, he was fined $50,000 and convicted on lesser charges. “I’ve been humbled and broken to my core,” he wrote in a letter to the judge. “The old me died in jail — I choose to live.”

President Trump confirmed the request, saying, “A lot of people have asked me for pardons. He has asked me too.” Combs’ lawyers plan to appeal, arguing the court misinterpreted the jury’s verdict.
Whether the president grants mercy remains to be seen. For now, the fallen music mogul faces years in prison — and a legacy forever shadowed by scandal and regret.
