Rumors about President Donald Trump’s health intensified after he posted a questionable golf photo online. The 79-year-old leader had already raised concerns by skipping several public appearances over the holiday weekend.
In July, doctors revealed Trump suffers from chronic venous insufficiency, a common condition that affects blood flow in the legs. Photos showing bruises on his hands and swelling in his legs fueled more doubts. Online hashtags like “Trump Is Dead” trended as speculation spiraled.
I’m not a conspiracy theory guy, but if you’re fighting off increasing rumors that you may have suffered a major medical episode and to disprove that rumor and provide proof of life, you post a picture of allegedly playing golf with Jon Gruden today, it would be beneficial to… pic.twitter.com/s0K3upMteJ

On August 31, Trump shared an image of himself golfing with Jon Gruden, claiming it was recent. Supporters cheered, with one writing, “He’s at the TOP OF HIS GAME!” But critics quickly pointed out the picture was more than a week old. “This is insane. The President is obviously lying about his activities,” one consultant wrote.
Although Trump’s doctors insist he is in good health, the recycled photo only deepened mistrust. The White House says it will release a new statement, keeping speculation alive.
Do you think leaders owe the public complete transparency about their health?
