Donny Osmond recently worried fans after sharing a video of himself singing “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” from a hospital bed while under anesthesia. The 66-year-old singer, who originally recorded the Disney hit for Mulan, posted the clip on July 9, 2025, showing himself singing before and after an undisclosed medical procedure. Despite appearing groggy, he pushed through, captioning the video: “Feeling all better now. This helped me power through.”
Fans quickly expressed concern. “Is everything okay, Donny? HUGS!! 🤗” one wrote. Another asked, “What happened to you, Donny?” Some speculated the procedure was a colonoscopy based on his position in the bed. Many also sent love and encouragement, with one fan commenting, “Sending you healing energy and so much love! 💜✨”
Osmond has long focused on staying healthy. In past interviews, he credited his stage performances as his primary workout and revealed he follows a mostly vegan diet with occasional indulgences. “Moderation in everything is what I say,” he shared. Osmond also avoids processed sugar and soda, emphasizing a natural lifestyle.
His secret to aging gracefully includes “kindness, laughter, and optimism.” He credits his wife, Debbie, for grounding him through his decades-long battle with anxiety. “Debbie has given my life stability,” he said.
Now recovering, Osmond continues headlining his Las Vegas residency at Harrah’s, extended through November 2025. The show includes a duet with a 3D version of his 14-year-old self and closes with a Broadway-style performance of “I’ll Make a Man Out of You.”
Fans can expect Donny to return to the stage soon — with the same heart, humor, and spirit they’ve always loved.
