Ellen DeGeneres recently revealed she has been diagnosed with three health conditions in her new Netflix special, For Your Approval. The 66-year-old comedian, who previously announced this would be her final performance, shared her struggles with OCD, ADHD, and osteoporosis.
Discussing her OCD, DeGeneres admitted: “I may have OCD because a therapist said so and I said, ‘Yes I am very organized,’ because I thought that was the O. I didn’t know what OCD was.” Reflecting on her father’s similar habits, she added: “He would check the doorknob 15 times before we’d leave… They say it could be hereditary.”

She also disclosed her ADHD diagnosis, humorously explaining: “I think I’m well-adjusted because I obsess on things, but I don’t have the attention span to stick with it.”
On osteoporosis, DeGeneres joked about feeling fragile, stating: “I don’t even know how I’m standing up right now. I’m like a human sandcastle. I could disintegrate in the shower.” Despite her health struggles, she remains lighthearted, earning support from fans who have expressed their well wishes online.
