Actor Elliot Page, 36, known for Juno, recently opened up about a passionate connection with his co-star Olivia Thirlby while filming the 2007 hit. In his memoir Pageboy, Elliot recalled feeling “an instant pull” toward Olivia, describing her as confident and free-spirited at a time when he was still finding himself.
Their chemistry quickly turned into something more. “We couldn’t stop,” he wrote. “It was new, hopeful, and made me feel seen for the first time.” The pair grew close on set, sharing secret moments away from the cameras — moments that, Elliot says, helped him shed the shame he once carried about who he was.
Olivia later came out as bisexual in 2011 and married filmmaker Jacques Pienaar in 2014. For Elliot, the experience became part of a much larger journey — one of acceptance, transformation, and courage.
“I was finally starting to understand what it meant to feel alive,” he shared.
